I love everything about this.



The Punch Brothers featuring Rob Moose on violin do Brandenburg concerto #3 2nd and 3rd movements. This just blows my mind. Playing the harpsichord part on the banjo is awesome.

For the longest time, my favorite version of this tune was from Wendy Carlos' Switched On Bach...

... but the Punch Brothers performance is right up there with it. Both versions are absolutely amazing, even though they are so different.

{Also, loved Chris when he was part of Nickle Creek and had the pleasure of watching them perform at the Ryman in Nashville several years ago. Blew me away with the mandolin even then!}
